Our Products
At St Vincent Industries, we pride ourselves on the quality of our product and the personal service we offer to our customers. We supply Flannelette, t-shirt, cotton and towel rags in 5, 10, and 15 kilogram bundles, ready to use straight out of the packs. We also offer free delivery within in the greater Hobart area. How It Works
Every year, we process hundreds of tonnes of materials, which are generously donated by people and businesses across Tasmania. What happens next is a well-rehearsed four-stage process.
- We receive the fabric, including unwanted clothing, bedding, and towelling to be sorted or turned into recycled rags. Some of the clothing items are still good enough to be sold via Vinnies Stores around the state. Others that can’t be used as rags because they are unabsorbent, may be useful as fabric for shredding to have another life as another product.
- We cut the material into their specified rag sizes, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Next, it is sorting time, when rags are sorted to check for quality. They are then bagged ready for dispatch.
- The rags are ready for sale or to be delivery to your door by one of our friendly drivers.
